During the pandemic we started holding our meetings online on Zoom. We nearly always meet at 6.30pm on the first Tuesday of each month. We have continued to use Zoom as this is more convenient for those who otherwise have to travel to The Collective building in Old Oak Lane (which provides us with free meeting space).
A set of slides is presented to each meeting, setting out the agenda and including maps, plans, and images of the new developments coming forward for planning approval. We try to keep paperwork to a minimum, and to ensure that everyone at our meetings can keep up to speed with the complexities of the planning system.
All are welcome and no previous knowledge of planning issues is needed. PDF versions of the slides used at recent meetings are posted below.
Our open meetings are attended by our ‘full members’ who live or work within the 22 hectare neighbourhood area, designated by OPDC in 2017, along with our ‘affiliate members’ from the surrounding area. Anyone with an interest in the future of Old Oak is welcome to attend, and there is no membership fee to join the Forum.
